Pastor/Teacher/Elder

John began his ministry at NLFC in January 2015. He has been married to Angela for 18 years and has 5 children (+1 in heaven). John is a graduate of New Geneva Theological Seminary in Colorado Springs and studied biblical counseling under the ministry of the late Jay Adams (The Institute of Nouthetic Counseling). He was born in Omaha and raised in North Platte Nebraska. He also coaches wrestling for Perkins County Jr and Sr. High.

Elder

James has been an Elder at NLFC since 2017. His focus is on children’s ministries, pastoral care, and shepherding. He has been a life-long resident of Grant, NE and enjoys spending time with his wife Molly and their four children.

Elder

Marlon has been an Elder at NLFC since the fall of 2021 and an elder at a previous church for 24 years. His focus is teaching adult Sunday School and shepherding the flock. Marlon and his wife Vivian moved to Grant in 2022 and have attended NLFC since 2020. He is taking on-line classes from the Timothy Pastoral Apprenticeship. Marlon enjoys spending time with his family, including his three married children, 11 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
